Brief_DescriptionOn April 8 1930, C.P. Scott was presented with the freedom of the city of Manchester. This silver casket is decorated with scenes of Manchester, the red rose of Lancaster and the Manchester coat of arms. It once held the original freedom scroll

The casket is on loan to the GNM archive from the University of Manchester.
